OPIS RADA:

Test Subject 1 (bijeli zec) i Test Subject 2 (smeđi zec) dvije su suprotnosti koje predstavljaju jednako suprotne pojmove. Prirodno — neprirodno, moralno — nemoralno.
Zašto onda i dalje masovno stradaju životinje?

ABOUT PROJECT:

Test Subject 1 (white rabbit) and Test Subject 2 (brown rabbit) are two opposites that represent equally opposite concepts. Natural - unnatural, moral - immoral. Both rabbits represent the normal, average life cycle of each. One enjoys all the privileges and adversities afforded to him in the outside world, he is free, it`s the brown rabbit. Natural, truthful. The other does not know the outside world, has no right to choose. He is a product, an experiment, the purpose of his existence is to be an object. Not a living creature, carefree being, he is trapped, suffering his fate, needles, pills, abuse, pain.Someone will say, but why should the testing be done on me? I'd rather have an animal be experimented on. Isn't it funny that a rabbit suffers because of hand soap, because of something that has no purpose for him. Scientists have long since found a way to test different substances painlessly and without anyone's suffering. Then why are massive amount of animals still suffering? Why are their eyes taken out, poisoned with various chemicals, their legs cut, their hair pulled out and such? The only reason is: because it is cheaper. It`s a sad truth, completely natural to some, moral, yet one's own needs and security are ahead of some other "lower being." For me, this is unnatural and immoral. This series of illustrations is an expression of my attitude towards animal abuse and testing. It is also a testament to my attitude towards the suffering and exploitation of others, perhaps weaker than us, perhaps only naive, perhaps only those who cannot say no or those who have no right to say no. Yes, I’m not just talking about animals, a rabbit isn’t just a rabbit, a rabbit is a symbol of us all. No one should be trampled, humiliated and have no right to be that free rabbit, that rabbit that is also an experiment, but an experiment of one's own ideas, freedom, voting rights, that rabbit that can carry the moon and sun in it`s womb and everything it wants, the rabbit whose very entrails of blood and flesh will not pull him down from the sheer weight. Our entrails (soul) should contain much more than that, much more than a defeated, captured rabbit.
